Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
Please be informed that LLC Brooklyn-Kyiv Port (hereinafter the Terminal) is announcing as of 01.10.2021 the launch of a contract campaign for 2022!
Due to changes in the law, on January 1, 2022 the Terminal is putting in force an amended version of the contract for a package of services associated with handling of containers of a freight forwarder (hereinafter the Client).
Thus, as of 01.10.2021 the Terminal is going to conclude contracts with Clients only and exclusively in electronic format with the use of an authorized electronic signature (hereinafter the AES). Therefore, having the AES is a mandatory requirement to all the Clients of the Terminal for contract execution.
In view of the above, please be advised that all the Clients who made contracts with the Terminal heretofore, shall use their current contracts (in paper form) till the end of 2021. Such contracts will be deactivated on 31.12.2021.
Electronic contracts of the current Clients that will be concluded from 01.10.2021 to 31.12.2021, shall come into effect at the beginning of a new year and shall be activated on 01.01.2022.
Electronic contracts of the new Clients that enter into a contract with the Terminal for the first time, shall become effective upon their signature by the Terminal and shall be activated on the same day.
In order to avoid arising of any difficulties in provision of cargo and container handling services in the coming 2022 year, we kindly ask you to take reasonably in advance all actions necessary for execution of an amended aforementioned contract.
All the information on the 2022 contract campaign, and the procedure for conclusion of contracts in electronic form are available at our Terminal’s website www.bkport.com in “Digital Contract” section. Please refer to these recommendations and sign the proposed contract and addendum No.1 thereto on or before December 31, 2021.
